The results
Mostly A’s — He’s grieving it too. He ended it honestly and he’s still looking, which means it cost him something too. That changes nothing about whether it should restart. Write the message if you need to, then read it back tomorrow morning.
Mostly B’s — Keeping the door cracked. He hasn’t shut the door because he doesn’t want to lose the option. If he does come back, the only thing worth watching is whether he explains the absence without being asked to.
Mostly C’s — A habit, not a signal. A story view costs him one second and tells you nothing at all. Only read the things that cost him something — time, a question, a plan. Right now there aren’t any, and that’s the information.
Mostly D’s — He ghosted and still looks. He left without a word and he’s still watching. You won’t get a reason, and the version you invent will be crueller to you than the truth. Make looking him up take four steps instead of one.
