A subscription unlocks unlimited decodes and checks from Tess for the duration of the subscription, subject to the fair-use limit below. The situation library and the quizzes are free to everyone. Content may be added, changed or removed over time.
Decodes and checks are generated by an AI model and cost us real money per request, so together they are capped at 40 per hour per subscriber. This is far above normal use and exists to stop one account being shared around a group chat. Hit it and you are asked to wait, not charged more.
Tess is the name of the app's AI voice. Decodes and checks are generated by an AI model working from our authored material. They are an interpretation of a pattern, not a statement of fact about anyone, and they can be wrong. The model may occasionally decline to answer. Treat a read as a second opinion from someone who has never met either of you — because that is what it is.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Bought on this website: every receipt and renewal email from RevenueCat, our billing provider, contains a link to your customer portal, where you can cancel at any time. Or email [email protected] and we will cancel it for you.
Bought in the app: billing is handled by Apple or Google, and you cancel through your App Store or Play Store account settings. Refunds on app purchases are handled by the store under its own policy.
Don't redistribute or resell the content. Don't use it to harass anyone. Don't submit other people's private messages at scale, or anything you have no right to share.
