The results
Mostly A’s — The unsent paragraph. You’ve written it, rewritten it and read it to a friend. Before you send it, ask what you want back — if it’s him, the paragraph won’t do it.
Mostly B’s — You’re still checking. Every check restarts the clock on getting over it. It’s a habit, not a weakness — and habits break by making the check harder, not by willpower.
Mostly C’s — You need a reason. You’re rebuilding every conversation, looking for the moment it turned. The reason usually isn’t in there, and waiting for him to supply it hands him the ending too.
Mostly D’s — You closed the door. Archived, done, and you meant it. That isn’t coldness — it’s choosing your own evenings again. If he comes back, you get to decide whether the door opens.
