The results
Mostly A’s — The follower-list detective. Ask whether anything in how he treats you has changed. If it hasn’t, the feeling is real but the case you’ve built from a follow isn’t. Investigating has never once made you feel better afterwards.
Mostly B’s — You keep score on story views. Attention that costs him nothing tells you nothing. A story view is not a message. Judge him on what costs something — a question, a plan, a call — and stop counting the free stuff.
Mostly C’s — You’re competing with his ex. You’re competing with a woman you only know in photographs, which is unwinnable because she isn’t real to you. The question worth asking is whether he still brings her up unprompted.
Mostly D’s — You look, and let it go. You can see something online without building a case from it, which spares you hours most of us lose. Keep your evidence to what actually happens between you two in person.
