The results
Mostly A’s — He meant it, plainly. He told you the truth and he’s living by it. The only question left is yours: could you have exactly this, unchanged, for another six months? If not, believe him the first time.
Mostly B’s — Boyfriend without the title. He’s doing the relationship and dodging the word. Don’t ask what you are — ask what he wants. It’s much harder to answer vaguely, and his answer is the whole decision.
Mostly C’s — A line to keep you waiting. ‘Not right now’ is doing a lot of work here. Count what’s actually changed since he said it. If the answer is nothing, that sentence was a holding pattern, not a timeline.
Mostly D’s — It was a soft exit. That was the start of a goodbye, not a status update. Compare this fortnight to a month ago — fades only show at that distance. You don’t have to wait for the formal version.
