The results
Mostly A’s — You took the honest exit. You heard a man tell you the truth and you took him at his word. That isn’t coldness, it’s self-respect. Nothing here needs fixing — the ache is just the price of having believed him.
Mostly B’s — You waited to be upgraded. The only real question is whether you’d be happy with exactly this, unchanged, for another year. If the answer is no, waiting isn’t patience — it’s a decision you haven’t said out loud yet.
Mostly C’s — You negotiated the terms. Negotiating isn’t desperate when it’s specific. ‘More effort’ can’t be answered; ‘can we plan something on a weekend’ can. One clear ask, then watch what he does with it.
Mostly D’s — You shrank to fit it. You made yourself smaller so his offer would fit. Name three things you did regularly before this started, and count how many you’ve done in the last fortnight. That number is the whole read.
