The results
Mostly A’s — You asked to meet them. Asking was right. Now ask the smaller question underneath it: has he ever mentioned you to anyone? Not introduced — just mentioned. If nobody knows your name, you already have your answer.
Mostly B’s — You’ve gone quiet about him. You’ve started editing what you tell your friends, and the editing is the signal. It’s not about them being harsh. It’s that some part of you doesn’t want to hear it said back in a clear voice.
Mostly C’s — You know them from his stories. Watching his life on a screen costs him nothing, so it tells you nothing. Only count what costs him something — a plan, an introduction, your name said out loud to someone who matters to him.
Mostly D’s — You stopped bringing it up. You’ve learned that raising it goes badly, so you stopped raising it. Check which it is: have you ever brought something up and had it go fine? If never, that’s not your anxiety. That’s him.
