The results
Mostly A’s — He shows up when it’s hard. He stayed in something hard and didn’t need thanks for it. That’s the real test and he passed. Let yourself ask for things at normal volume instead of rationing them.
Mostly B’s — He disappears under weight. Closeness makes him retreat, so you’ve learned to handle everything alone. The question isn’t whether he’s avoidant — it’s whether he’ll talk about it. One is a trait, the other is the problem.
Mostly C’s — It ends up being about him. Your bad day keeps becoming his, which is why you rehearse before you speak. Have you ever raised something and had it go fine? That tells you if this is your fear or his pattern.
Mostly D’s — Soothes you, then vanishes. He’s warm exactly long enough to settle you, then he’s gone. Comfort you can only reach during his good stretches isn’t support, it’s weather. Ask for it on an ordinary Tuesday.
