Mostly A’s — He told you already. He told you the truth and you’ve been hoping it was a phase. The only question left is whether you’d take exactly this, unchanged, for another year. If no, that’s a decision, not a wait.
Mostly B’s — You’re the default. Comfortable is not the same as chosen. Ask what has actually changed since month one, and if the honest answer is nothing, that’s the answer to the bigger question as well.
Mostly C’s — He keeps it undefined. He keeps it undefined because undefined costs him nothing. Don’t ask what you are, ask what he wants. It’s far harder to dodge, and the dodge itself is your answer.
Mostly D’s — It’s quietly fading. Compare this fortnight with one three months ago — fades only show up across that kind of distance. Nobody is going to announce it. You’re allowed to name it first and stop waiting.
